VZW sold out of TP2? - Page 10

I was told they're still out of stock. However, new inventory is appearing in their system and they expect to receive new stock Monday.

How can there be such disparity I wonder?

Yeah it is pretty crazy. I called 5 times today and now am giving up. waited a half our between each call but no luck.

It's interesting that Verizon is the only company to be sold out. I haven't seen Sprint or T-Mobile have this issue. Is this another Verizon mess up for not ordering enough or are we the customers that are craving a better device since Verizon screwed our Touch Pro's by removing memory from the device?

I got my 2nd touch pro ordered today! Thats 2 in 2 days!

For anyone thats having trouble I am in Sacramento Ca. You might have your rep try the warehouses out here.

You might be in for a nasty surprise when you open that box, unless of course you intended to order the pro and not the pro2.

I took my LG Voyager and TP2 into a retail store and they were able to transfer the contacts. They couldn't do a straight transfer to the phone though (they tried several times/ways). I ended up having to pull out the SIM card, have them transfer the contacts to the SIM card, then copy them from the SIM card to the phone (then delete off the SIM card so they're not duped). The only problem is it only copied one number per contact and none of the e-mail addresses. I ended up simply inputing all my contacts by hand (needed to get rid of quite a few anyway).

So it can be done, the end result just isn't that pretty and takes some cleanup work.

I order two TP2s, got the confirming email, 3 days later, two TP1s showed up, needless to say I was pissed. Three days later the TP2s arrive and all is a better place. My wife and I love our phones and almost dont even need the laptops except for processing photos or working on the network. (I am a photographer and she is a network engineer).

I've had the tp2 for like 2 weeks now I love it Its got to be one of the best phones ive ever owned. Quick question though does anyone know if winmobile 6.5 for the tp2 is gonna be available for download on Oct 6th or are we gonna have to wait for it?
