my only suggestion would be sprint's airave. It cost money per month but from what I have heard it works pretty well. The other thing would to flash a different radio but we aren't that far yet with the TP2. Sorry I couldn't help anymore

No problem, I appreciate the suggestion, although I shouldn't have to use the airave. If it relays Verizon (CDMA) and AT&T (GSM) just fine, why not Sprints? And why couldnt I piggy back off of Verizons if not Sprints? Seems strange. Only thing I could think of is if theres a way to force roam..

Do a search for forced roam or forced roaming, there is a thread on how to do it.

BB output more RF power and have a more sensitive receiver many times. That could be some of the difference.
