Re: Answering call with Bluetooth plays ringtone through headset???

I do not use pocket shield, and I have this problem on my car bluetooth as well. Thought I was the only one! Any other fixes out there?

Figure I'd add that I used Slide to Unlock 2.

Re: Answering call with Bluetooth plays ringtone through headset???

PocketShield has released an update (Version 3.1.0) and it has solved the problems on my car stereo's blurtooth.

I don't know if you have it installed or not but if you do, try disabling it. It solved the problem for me.

I have checked the forum at PocketShield's web site and they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

The phone still rings on the device and not through my stereo speakers (the stereo does mute and displays an incoming call on the screen) but at least I can answer it now without taking the phone out and sliding to unlock.
I have a feeling this issue is related.

I was wondering if Pocketshield might be causing issues with answering the phone via my bluetooth headset. Many thanks for the information. I just wished it was a solution.

They have fixed the problem fixed with a newer version through an option in the settings.

They got right on this and had a new release right away.

Re: Answering call with Bluetooth plays ringtone through headset???

the bt stack is corrupted and doesn't work correctly. at least for sprint.

wont hang up calls, no ringtone in headset.

this is what you get when htc screws the pooch, they need to leave the software alone and let MS do it
