Ouch. Would be hard to beat 3 bucks but heres one that looks good, and its from a US based seller for 16 bucks shipped. Not a bad price honestly.

It also has a jack for charging as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The guy has alot of feedback too, so it should be safe.

Yeah, Dr. 8820, that one I posted ships from Dallas TX, so it should be pretty quick. It was only 16 bucks shipped.

Came across another option for the EXTusb adapter mod.

Carefully place a very small piece of duct or electrical tape over pin 4, instead of ripping it out.

Wouldn't last forever, but good for testing it...

I did the hack with the tp2 adapter, just cut the blue wire and when I connect it to the tv, I get B&W image with no color!
Anyone else have this issue?
(of course the tv is color!) I had to switch red and yellow, but otherwise I have clear sound and good video, just NO COLOR!
Is this typical?
Suggestions/solutions?

OMG! this was just too easy. I had the adaptor from my touch pro left over and just popped it open and cut the blue wire then put it back together, plugged a video cable to it, and plugged it in to my TP2 and there it was... the phone automatically went to TV out mode and started working. Thank You, Thank You! I almost threw away that adaptor since I really didn't need it anymore with this phone... glad I held on to it.
