installed tomtom 7.450.9028 got BTTrayCE start-up error - Page 3

since they're system files, file explorer can't do it. it would need to be done with resco explorer or total commander.

What did I do wrong ? I put the 2 .ddl into the windows folder and pasted over the BTTrayCE folder.Now I get the error message to reinstall the BTTrayCE at startup.

Thanks the cab worked.But does this mean I can't install TOMTOM on my TP2 ?

no, you can.... it just messes up bluetooth on inital install unless you apply the fix

You guys might want to have a look at this other area of this site.

This provided the solution for me without having to uninstall anything, just install this little .cab

Hello,

I have the same problem (BTTrayCE) on my new HTC HD2. I tried to delete the files but I canot (even with resco (read only files...)), and I tried your <strra TomTom BT Fix.cab> but it does not change anything... Is any body got the solution ?

not sure why the fix didn't work for you, but check your pm

*edit* by the way, with resco, you have to rename to files. i used to just delete the ".dll" at the end. you can delete them with totalcommander though
