TouchFlo text message Icon stuck
Hey all,
I just recently bought my t-mobile TP2 and i've been loving it so far. I have run into one issue that is frustrating me, however. It seems like sometimes, if I send or recieve a text message in an area with poor reception, the message won't go through but will somehow save to my inbox as an unread message. Then, no matter what I do, I can't get the unread message icon to go away, even after deleting every text on my device. I haven't been able to find any function to clear the icon like I've had on other phones, and was wondering if there's any other way to get rid of the notification short of resetting the phone to defaults (which is what I did last time this happened) Any help would be appreciated because it appears this could be a recurring problem, and I don't want to have to reset my phone every week. FIX IS IN THIS POST! Last edited by mindfrost82; 01-27-2010 at 09:41 AM. |

Re: TouchFlo text message Icon stuck
Bump, It's happened again, curious if anyone else has the same problem or knows a solution. I'm definitely not interested in resetting the phone every time it happens (which seems to be about once a week).
Thanks |

Re: TouchFlo text message Icon stuck
I'm having the exact same problem on my At&t Fuze (Touch Pro) with a WM6.5 ROM and Manila 2.1.
Tried Memmaid to clear and rebuild the notification queue and it didn't help. Ran ClearTemp and CleanRAM with the same result.

Re: TouchFlo text message Icon stuck
I found the fix.
Unzip this file, put it on your storage card or on the device and run it. When it finishes, wait a few minutes and your problem should go away. |

Re: TouchFlo text message Icon stuck
That did the trick. If fixed the count in the folder view immediately, but it didn't reset the count in the shortcut bar UI right away - but I sent a text message to myself and that made the shortcut bar update.
