THANK YOU VERY MUCH MindFrost82, after running that zip file and sending and receiving 1 new text after running it corrected the issue on my HTC Touch Pro 2 phone running Windows 6.5!!

How do i get the zip file onto my phone. is there a way I can connect my phone with my computer to transfer the file... totally new at this please help! thanks xoxo

Just use your sync cable to connect. Click on the file and save it to your storage card.

I was having the unread SMS count problem like a lot of others have had. The FixUnreadCount cab would never work for me SO, I went into the registry at the location given below in another thread which had sms in place of the mms I've inserted in it's place below. I decided to see if there was anything unread in mms and sure enough there was. I changed the 1 to 0 and when I got back to my home screen, the 1 unread message indicator was gone. Hopefully, after receiving another text later, the problem will not come back.

HKEY_Current_User\system\state\Messages\mms\Unread and set the Count=0

@mindfrost - what exactly does your file do? not that I dont trust something you would post... but i'm curious about fixing it manually. thanks for any info.
