Re: Looking for TRUE CDMA Screen Protectors
I read through this thread but still have a question. What does everyone think about screen covers vs. full body covers? On my TP1 I had the Ghost Armor full body cover which I liked because it protected my chrome edges. Is full body protection as important with the TP2 as there is no chrome? My biggest issue with any of these cover are the edges get dirty and start to look a little ragged. Any advice on screen vs. full body protection would be much appreciated.

Re: Looking for TRUE CDMA Screen Protectors
Zagg is garbage for a any touch screen because of the heavy texture creates drag and the texture distorts the pixels as well , not cool. The best you can get for the screen is BoxWave ClearTouch Crystal for clarity and ClearTouch Anti-Glare for ...well anti-glare
I have tried many other brands and they just cant compare imo.

After reading all the 19 pages and my price range, I choose Phantomskinz. During my checkout process, it declined my order saying that I have an invalid address wrote them an email and waiting on a reply

Re: Looking for TRUE CDMA Screen Protectors
I tried them all over all the phones I have had, Vogue, Diamond, TP, Treo Pro, Pre and TP2.
Phantomskinz is the best, no visual distortion, not too rubbery and applies perfectly and easily if you follow the directions closely! |

Re: Looking for TRUE CDMA Screen Protectors
The answer to the OP's question is entirely subjective and everyone has their favorite brand. In my opinion you cannot beat the ease of application for the Boxwave protectors especially if you consider the fact that you do NOT have to use the water method that is described in one of this forum's sticky threads.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=84658 Why risk any moisture coming into contact with one of the phone's moisture sensors if you don't have to. That factor alone should sway people to selecting Boxwave. The protector went on smoothly with only a few tiny air pockets and they give you a applicator and a cleaning cloth to put their protectors on. The air pockets were gone the first time I used their applicator and the image on their Crystal model is super sharp and you cannot tell that there is a protector on the screen! In addition Boxwave definitely has a reputation for great customer service as evidenced by the fact that they replaced free of charge the early shipments sent to CDMA TP2 owners which had the tiny GSM hole in it without any argument. |
