Yea, same here. I use a Motorola S9-HD stereo BT headset all day at work, & a direct connect audio cable to connect to my multi-amp killer truck stereo & I think the stereo sound I get from pandora is just fine.

It is not audiophile quality of course, but I don't expect it to be........

It isnt the phone. Its the program. I use the groovefish app in my car and it streams out high bitrate audio seamlessly (sounds like cd quality, and each song seems to average 5-10 megs). Pandora app simply sounds horrible.

Re: Pandora for Touch Pro2?

can't seem to get groovefish to work on mighty or juicy's rom for some reason. I keep getting an error. I also have been using pandora for a few days and the sound is not terrific, but it will do. I think it's better than nothing. I just tweak my settings on the stereo and it sounds pretty good. Next thing on my list is this damn gps lag!!!

try deleting the xml file in the groovefish folder then soft reset. if that doesnt work, try installing it on your sd card

Re: Pandora for Touch Pro2?

Have any of you written to them?

I just got this official response this morning:

Quote:
Thanks very much for writing. Supporting more Windows Mobile devices is definitely something we want to do but for several reasons, it's among the more tricky smartphone platforms to support.

There are several different and fundamentally incompatible versions of the OS, vastly different hardware underlying the OS, inability to support the high efficiency AAC+ audio codec, problems with certifications, etc...

Unfortunately we can't do everything we'd like to do at once. It will probably be some time before we have a universal Windows Mobile client ready, and building clients one phone at a time was proving to be unworkable.
I'm going to go ahead and call BS on that. Either someone there doesn't know what they are doing, or they have a bias against Microsoft.

Re: Pandora for Touch Pro2?

I think if they could, they would. They had pandora for android within a year. Windows mobile has been out forever and still doesn't have the capability. I don't think it's gonna happen guys. Just deal with what we have working thus far.
