Pandora for Touch Pro2?

Hey guys!

I have a Pandora .cab file that I had installed on my old XV6800 with Verizon. It worked Ok, but I decided not to use it.

So I get this brandy dandy new Touch Pro2, and decide the 3.5 head jack makes perfect sense to use Pandora with. Except when I install that same .cab file, the software is obviously trying to work at a completely different resolution. The links are insanely small, almost like an amazingly clear 4 or 5 point font, and it also continues to run and stream music even if you kill absolutely everything through the task manager.

Has anyone found a good way to run Pandora on a Windows Mobile phone that the .cab wasn't built for (especially ones it looks horrible in)?

Re: Pandora for Touch Pro2?

Pandora cabs attached. I was able to load Pandora on my TP2, but one of these files may say, "wrong device". Sorry I failed to label it correctly.

Do those look okay on the screen?

I just found this one and it looks pretty good, the type text (like the menu) is small, but the buttons are normal. And the up and down thumbs are slighty cut off.

Not sure if one of the other cabs would fit better

Re: Pandora for Touch Pro2?

Thanks folks!

I'll try some of these out as soon as I get a chance and see if they are doing the same things as the .cab I have.

And greg72, I agree, the version I was trying out sounded like the bit rate needed some help.

Re: Pandora for Touch Pro2?

Can you play pandora and sprint nav at the same time like the pre. I used to do that and it worked great. Lowers the music and gives directions and the volume goes back up

Thanks everyone!

I tried the wvga fix, no luck. The control interface was still unusable.

bobturismo, I followed that link, read through and did about half the instructions. I had installed otterit's cab (the one with the version number at the end), and it gave me the same problem's. So I did the trick where you replace the pandora.exe file with the one from the VGA-Pandora.zip file. It doesn't look perfect, but it looks a ton better and everything is pretty much functioning as it should. The text when you select a channel is still really small, but I can live with that.

Thanks everyone!!
