why buy an iphone when you can get a giant maxIpad? oh yeah you cant make calls with a maxIpad. If you have a maxIpad and iphone you have the big and mini me version of the device. That would be cool if it were a pc or something but its not so its limited and generally suckage.

I have an ipod because the aps on it are awesome and blow the doors off of anything for windows mobile. The downside hands down #1 on screen keyboard sucks, no multi-tasking is very annoying.

This is why I got an ipod and not an iphone. The directv ap alone is worth getting an ipod for. Anytime I wanna shed something I just use that. I also use it to browse some websites around the house if I don't wanna carry my laptop around. Much faster rendering than my tp2. Love my tp2 for the keyboard, I think e-mail on it is awesome as well and of course the now network.

This is funny, I just had this same conversation with a friend a few days ago:

Me: I see your iPhone, that's a great device. I have the iPod Touch.
Her: What is the iPod Touch?
Me: It's the same thing as a iPhone but without the phone or the camera.
Her: Why not the iPhone?
Me: (Show Sprint TP2) Well I love love love Sprint. They allow me to tether my smartphone to my home desktop and then I get home internet for free.
Her: The internet at work is free.
Me: This is true. This has the best keyboard on any smartphone I've seen. And I love the screen for surfing the net.
Me: Also, I can use this as a mobile hotspot when there is no free Wifi. (Show app)

Replies like this are what make think of people of just being plain idiots. If you dont like the device fine, but thinking less of someone because they like a device OTHER than what you like is just plain idiocy. And to the guy that said he turned down business because of what type of phone people have... I look for your business to flop. Either you're lying or just a plain moron for that.. who turns down money because of a phone? It's obviously going to be biased towards winmo here and I get that considering its a winmo forum for the most part, but some of these replies are just hilarious.

You would think winmo doesnt have any shortcomings by reading this thread but having actually been a winmo owner for years some of us know better. Are there things the tp2 does better than the iphone, sure. Are there things the iphone does better than the tp2, plenty. I said it on another thread, I dont get why people are SOOOOOOOO sensitive when it comes to the iphone. If you dont like it, dont get it. But to assume someone owns one just because of marketing and not because they prefer it over winmo is once again, idiocy.

I have both, and both have their advantages.. moreso leaning on the iphone side for me. I guess people that like their phone to work out of the box without having to flash roms, do 50 million tweaks, change interfaces and do all kind of hacks to it just to get it to do what it should have done out of the box are all considered to be "sheep." Funny thing is, obviously those people are in the majority.. and thats something some of you in your small world need to realize.

I didnt' read many but the question you should ask yourself is why did it phase you?

1. What kind of influence does this girl have over you? Is she your sister a girl your trying to date or just a stranger you striked up a conversation with?
2. Why arn't you secure enough in your decisions to stand up to them.
3. Why did she ask? Does she really care, was she insulting you, or was she just trying to start a conversation.

For all you know maybe she loved your phone you just took it wrong.

Well said rant. I agree. I had a choice to make when my contract ended, I chose to stay with Sprint, the TP2 was free . Nothing against the Iphone, but I'm happy with WinMO, in fact I like tweaking and flashing ROMs its a nice hobby for me.

I think the OP was trying to say that the girl believes the Iphone is the only device to be had, which says she lives in a small world of her own.

iphone forums don't talk about the TP2 at all, and there are more iphone threads here than useful ones sometimes.

Obviously you're all obsessed with the iphone and deep down inside know you'd be happy with it if it was some kind of unknown device, or if mainstream idiots had adopted something completely different.
