ive used my current Jabra BT250v ear piece on my old HTC Touch with no issues. I'm now using it with my TP2 and it often wont hang up the call no matter how many times i press the button on the device. i tried looking for something in the registry but find nothing. is this a phone specific issue? any ideas? it even functions perfect with a blackberry my wife has.

Re: bluetooth headset funtionality

See this thread:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=84878

And please submit your complaint to HTC here:
http://www.htc.com/us/CS_Mail.aspx

Then call your carrier and file a complaint with them as well. The more who get in on this, the more likely we'll get a fix.

I agree. I'll put 20 bucks that someone here fixes it before HTC does.

Re: bluetooth headset funtionality

As a temporary fix, I've noticed that if you're having problems with your headset it helps to turn it off and then back on. Most problems happen for me when I have the headset turned on before I turn the phone on and it connects during the boot process.

Re: bluetooth headset funtionality

I would really pay if who ever on here finds the solution. I'm willing to donate for someone to take time and start trying to fix this problem.

Someone should make a Poll, so we get an idea of how many people are having this problem. I know not everyone uses BT HS but for the ones that due it would be nice to know who has problems and who doesnt. From what i have expericance this happens with all the headsets i have. Jawbone 2 and prime Jabra 250v and Jabra5050 plantrinic voyager and a motorola as well. So we all know is not a BT HS problem but a phone problem. All the above head sets work with my PPC 6700, mogul, and Touch Pro.

Question one

1. hanging up problem
2. Pairing problem
3. Every time you turn on headset the volume low.
4. All of the Above

I would make the poll but i dont have any idea how to.

The solution will be when we get a HardSPL and can replace this terrible Widcomm stack with a Microsoft stack.

Unfortunately, resetting the device isn't working for me.

Are you resetting the bluetooth device or your TP2?

Re: bluetooth headset funtionality

I additionally noticed that on the phone screen when answering a call using the bluetooth, the headset icon isn't in the line up till seconds after the answer button is pressed on the bluetooth....almost like its reconnecting to the phone. the headset icon is showing on the top bar though. is this also common?

I got $50 for anyone that comes up with a fix for this bullshiz problem. Seriously, You pay good money for a phone and have to deal with this kinda crap.
