Yes it does. It shows the Verizon load up screen when powering back on. I can verify it is an actual soft reset because of cabs I've installed that I know require a soft reset will then work after soft resetting via the power(end) button.

What? I can't tell what you are saying in your sentence. I'm almost positive I've read its 4 pole in a verizon document or maybe the guide it came with it in the box.

Re: Verizon TP2 hard reset SOLVED

Box manual just calls it, "3.5mm audio jack." I don't have a 4 pole to try it out.

Yes.

Someone on the forums mentioned that you can plug in the TP1 usb adapter and actually have two 3.5mm audio outs that were verified to work.

Well i assume its a 4th pole..I never been asked that question..Forget what i said about ipod..The 4th pole triggers a incoming call or voice activation...SO i assume all sprint and verizon are 4 poles. Plus i just looked at my headsets and counted 4 poles....I was thinking about 5 poles.

Re: Verizon TP2 hard reset SOLVED

Thanks for the help folks.
I think I better let this thread stay on topic.
I will be back in the TP2 area when I make a little more $$.
I'm sooo close....
