Re: No battery % in the power settings

Is the 1% cab from the XDA link working properly? From what I've heard is that it messes up the battery life it shows. I installed a cab and my battery had 70% before the cab and 100% after, so I removed the cab. And yes I did soft-reset...

Re: No battery % in the power settings

I don't have a black square on my taskbar... did you guys install the 1% driver from here? I'm on Sprint, so I used the Sprint one without any problems.

Re: No battery % in the power settings

it doesnt affect battery life. Your phone now shows : 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, etc. This will allow it to show : 6%, 19%, 77%, etc.
Increments of 1% instead of 10%

Before hand, my phone did not show 10%, 20%, etc. It just showed the battery with like 5 bars.

I have also installed programs to remove the transparent bars on the top and bottom. I still need to get rid of the black hole next to the battery.

Oh, well you have to have a custom taskbar installed first to show the % increments, then install the 1% cab.
Here you go http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=54514 I prefer taskbar2 in the second post

Re: No battery % in the power settings

I have a sprint TP2 and followed the instructions that defcon6 provided and also installed the 1% battery fix from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556318.
Unfortunately, no % battery meter and now it shows a full battery when before the install I had less than half remaining. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Also, I am new to WM and TP2.. I don't mind the trial and error but wondering if there is way to 'undo' the changes caused by the various .cab files i install. Any advice?

thanks in advance for your help to this newbie
