I didn't get a t-shirt when i had duplicate contact problems However, it is good to have multiple backups in case your contacts get deleted, which I have had happen when changing activesync settings not thinking it would delete my contacts rather than copy them to the other source.

If you are only interested in backing up contact numbers, avoid all software and just back up to SIM card. Using CDMA for so long I forgot I could do this..lol.

That I have, only thing is, sometimes I forget to uncheck "Restore Contacts"
