This little trick (enabled traditionally under Settings --> Input) basically suggests words as you type. It serves two purposes when typing:
IMPORTANT: Be sure that HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\XT9SupportMSSip has a value of 0 Simply change these two registry keys under: HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\layouts\e001 0409

I haven't tested this yet on the TP2... but yes, on the TP1, it caused the issued described above where periodically it would revert to the "number/symbols only" view. That's why it's a cautionable solution at best.
On the TP2, it also breaks the soft keyboard by converting the Spacebar key to be split between , and .
