The thread is about late text messages. If you read posts 7 & 9 you will see my reason for leaving Sprint.

post 9 says you were with sprint for 9 years, you switched because of the phone not service. If it was the service you would have left a long time ago.

Re: Sprint/VZW Price Comparison (AKA Why is VZW's TP2 so much cheaper?)
LOL Post #9 is me!!! I put up with shortmail (remember that?) for years and then Sprint finally came out with text messaging, but it never worked well. I didn't care that much at first but as time passed text messaging has become my primary means of communicating with friends and family. I send/receive over 6k texts a month and Sprint sucked at delivering them.

Re: Sprint/VZW Price Comparison (AKA Why is VZW's TP2 so much cheaper?)
Could we please not drag this thread off-topic with service complaints? Everyone has their reasons for choosing their carrier. All their friends may use it. They may perceive the service to be more reliable. They may or may not get a usable signal in places that are important to them. Maybe the CEO of the carrier beat them up in 4th grade. Be that as it may...
This thread is about the price differences between Sprint and VZW's TP2's, and why the differences are there. |

Re: Sprint/VZW Price Comparison (AKA Why is VZW's TP2 so much cheaper?)
Sprint is barely survivng and is doing everything they can to attract more business and keep the business they have. Verizon isn't in that prediciment. What more is there to be said? Yes Verizon is more expensive. We don't need a thread to illustrate that.

Re: Sprint/VZW Price Comparison (AKA Why is VZW's TP2 so much cheaper?)
SERO/EP aside, the almost identical plan on Sprint is still cheaper than everybody else monthly.
Sprint knows, there are many SERO and EP users out there, but to them a penny is a penny. Besides, the shareholders doesn't care how much the customers pay every month, all they care is how many subscribers exist. I guess it's just either small headache in a long run or, a sharp quick pain for a moment. If you catch my drift. |
