Re: Non-rubbery screen protectors

i am using the OEM screen protector... once it's put on correctly it's hard to tell it's there.

http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?p...36228&cat=4460

this one looks like an OEM protector and it's only $7.99 compared to those overly expensive boxwax and invisible sheild covers.

never again will i spend $20-$25 on a piece of plastic.

Is this the same quality as the screen protector that comes standard with the phone?

When I purchased the TP2 from Sprint, I also order 5 additional screen protectors from them. Those 5 extra were cheap, and scratched way to easily and made the phone look like hell. I put the original on the TP2, and WOW! It is smooth, and doesn't scratch easily. Additionally, it fits exactly. I would like to get 2 or 3 extras incase I need one in a pinch.

I actually just got accepted today to send my phone into Zagg to get a free InvisibleShield put on it. I've never had one or seen an InvisibleShield before. I'm debating on whether or not to do it. I have to provide them a tracking number within 48 hours before they decline my invitation.

Any thoughts on the InvisibleShield, as well as getting some screen protectors exactly like the ones the TP2 shipped with?

Thanks in advance,

Cosmo

Re: Non-rubbery screen protectors

I ended up getting these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=260462992673 because it looked like it didn't have the front facing camera (like the picture.) FYI: They are hard plastic (but flexible, not rubbery) but the underside is some kind of soft rubber, not really adhesive like... but it works great.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the quality/fit/finish was a little tricky (and not picture perfect due to a spec of dust) but happy nonetheless.

What I got/how it fits the Telus TP2:

Re: Non-rubbery screen protectors

You know, since it is just a little piece of plastic that is included (in the Sprint version at least), why can't these be put on for us in HTC's sterile assembly environment? That would be a great customer service and added value statement to me.

Re: Non-rubbery screen protectors

I ended up going with these from Pocket Solutions...

http://www.thepocketsolution.com/PSI...Protector.html

They were cheap, came in a pack of 3, and I've read a few good things about them. Most importantly, they have the glossy feel I was looking for. I'll post back once they've arrived and I've installed them.

Re: Non-rubbery screen protectors

The BoxWave ClearTouch Anti-Glare, is the best screen protector for any device. I've tried many, and nothing beats it's stylus AND finger feel, durability, anti glare properties, etc. It's just so great. I've had them on everything since my Clie TG50.

I emailed them today to see what the ETA of a CDMA version is, I'll post back here with their response.

Re: Non-rubbery screen protectors

Anyone want to check the one in the link above this and tell me if you think it will work on the sprint touch pro?
