alert sound.

i ran into some trouble.. i made a custom alert tone for when i get a txt message.. i put the custom alert tone in ,,, open file explore
Application Data- sounds.. i used a mp3. 100k size.. it worked just fine.. it played every time i got a txt.. but i wanted a new custom alert..this is were it get confusing, i made another custom tone, put it in the same sound folder. but it doesnt work.. i keep on hearing the first custom ringtone i made even though im not using it.. so i deleted the first ring tone.. still wouldnt work so i tried a alert that came with the phone.. and that didnt work either .. so what is going on??
