Re: Touch Pro2 falls back from EV-DO to 1x

I just was looking and noticed that it appears that my phone switches to 1x when starting tethering by WIFI. I checked the HDR authentication and it appears that I am not authenticated. When I am using the phone normally I have no problem with EVDO. I have the Wifi Internet Sharing app. Does anyone else have this problem?

I am going to check to see if tethering by usb works better.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile 6.0) Sprint T7380)

return or exchange for another, i had the same problem on sprint and it apparently was a hardware problem, 4 calls to tech did nothing, prl hard reset etc, and tricks here as well 1=authenticated

Sometimes I wonder if this is an Icon referesh issue and you are actually back on Evdo.

Are you sure you are in EVDO coverage?

not an icon refresh issue...def drops into 1x and produces 1x speed...i live in one of the original revA markets and it happens to me daily...even when not tethering it will drop in to 1x while watching sprint tv or youtube...almost as if it's being bottle necked by the servers.
