on another note i got roms running except for snes .... smartgear states it runs snes but im having no luck

Same here with SNES. I have 2 SNES roms in my Sd card but they don't even show up so I cant select them. I've registered the program.

I just noticed something. When your on the define keys screen you will notice under the define box it says * = the keys behave badly. The up down left and right seem to not show the * which means the will work, so you will need to use only the keys that dont show up with a *. Check it out in the define keys menu. I have found a fix!!!!!!
This cab will allow you to map any key succesfully!!
-Install cab
-reset
-Find cab in games folder(KforTP)
Open KforTP, hit switch to, hit minimize.
- go back to define keys, now you will be able to sucessfully define your keys!!!!

I eventually got my buttons to work. There for awhile all I had backwards was the up and down, but I kept changing the up and down definitions instead of the left and right one. So basically the only problem I had was that up and down was really left and right, and vice versa. PM if you want they way I have them set up.

does anyone know of a snes emulator that works good on the tp2? nes roms are great but snes are a littlle better in the graphics department.

I believe that means it saves your progress for the games you play, so next time you play the game you can continue where you left off.

this thing is amazing, thanks for pointing it out. now if my NES controller to USB adapter would work..not that it'd be awkward or anything..

edit=just pulled the trigger on the $10, totally worth it..will let you guys know what the turnaround time on my reg key is.
