Do you think theres a chance they will fix it with the 6.5 rom?

For me, I actually getthe announcements (as long as my phone is not set to vibrate through Spb Phone Suite, or rather during "Busy" calendar events)...it my custom ringtones that don't work and is driving me nuts! I have lots of employees, and many have distinct rings...well not anymore...

On a positive note...I have seen improvements with activesync over BT, as well as pairing up multiple BT gear; it is more user friendly for these things...but I would gladly give them up for my ring tones back!

Re: Voice Command Caller Anouncement over BT

I am getting more unable to connect responses that require rebooting the device or the laptop. Yesterday I had to re-install Stynk Center on the laptop. Well, not really, cause after I rebooted the laptop, everything worked like it was suppose to. I use Bluetooth exclusively.

Re: Voice Command Caller Anouncement over BT

OK everyone, this is my first post and I hope this helps. I too have had a problem getting voice command to work with my headset, but I finally found a setting that allows it to work.

Go into your bluetooth settings where it shows your paired devices. You will have three tabs at the top. Tap on the first tab on the left whose icon is three gray gears. Tap the plus sign next to Advanced, then scroll down to Audio and tap on it. There is a setting here that says "Play system sounds on remote hands-free device" Check this and tap done.

Thats it! This is what worked for my Motorola H700. I think this may be what has been causing the problem that most of you are having. Please let me know if this works for you guys.

-Steve

You've just routed ALL sounds to your headset. The battery on your headset will run dead in a hurry now now. This is NOT a workable solution and will have the same effect on your headset battery as having a constant phone conversation..

how did you do that. Please post solutions.

Go to start, settings, all settings, personal tab, and buttons. Make sure the send key (hold) is set to voice command.

This did not work for me on call announcements but this is what I had to do to get the GPS TTS to go through bluetooth.

Mickeyleah said headset, not handset (regarding the buttons setting). Your solution enables someone to press the button on the handset to initiate VC, but not the headset. Pressing the headset button should "just work".

Sounds like there are a lot of BT issues with the TP2. What a bummer.

Ah my mistake. Mine seems to be hit or miss. With the jaw bone sometimes the VC will come on sometimes it wont.
