Except he said the price was $199 after rebate. The $99 was after an additional $100 retention bonus. If it were the TP1 it would have been $99 with no rebate.

he got a 100 retention credit... offsetting his phone cost by 100bucks... he didnt really get it for 100, he got it for 199...

I'm glad for this thread. Alot of people talk mess because with sprint some people got it easily and some others had to call a bunch of times like you guys. This thread reassures me its not just the sprint reps.

Unless he used his ne2 discount like I will, but I doubt that was the case. My salesman was so intent on selling me one that he left me his direct ext to call him on Friday so he could get credit for the sale. Like I said if they could sell you one they would. They are not the TP2 Nazi's, saying who can get one and who cant. If the computer will let them sell it they will.

The guy i talk to in telesales seem like that. he was really cool about every thing. Im sure he is going to call me on thursday and ask if i still want the TP2.

Yeah, no go here, they can't order it yet.

If you want the phone ASAP then there's no reason to order via Telesales, assuming it'll be in stores friday. You wouldn't receive it until tuesday.

So your insinuating that there is some sale page that only a couple of reps know how to get to then? I don't think so. If it is able to be sold it will present itself in the normal sales system, not some vague hidden page you have to search for. The rep I just spoke to brought the page up and told me the price and then said it would not be able to be sold till Friday. It's as simple as that.

No dice here. I tried our corporate telesales line and the lady I got was very nice and was ready to order me one but the computer wouldn't let her do it. She's going to give me a call when its available, presumably friday.

I'm going through telesales so I can keep my PDA SMS 2000 code on my account. Pretty sure ordering it online will wipe that out and I'm not even going to try the store.... always get screwed there lol.
