Verizon Telesales now taking orders

Just ordered my Touch Pro 2 from telesales. Price $199 after rebate. I was also eligible for a $100 customer appreciation/retention bonus! The phone will cost me $100 total. May get it Thursday or Friday.

how much is it without the rebate?
how much is it for new customers?

might use the lower price as leverage to get tp2 on sprint on a price match.

anybody know when the verizon tp2 will be listed on the vz website?

I just spoke to telesales and they said it's in their system but there's no way they can order yet because there's no quantity available. He made the comment "I'm all about sales, so if I had a way of ordering this for you I would. Call us back on Friday morning."

Called *611 about something else, he said I was available for an upgrade. I told him I was waiting for the TP2. He said it was available now and he did the work with telesales. I didn't speak to telesales personally. He confirmed the price $299, $100 rebate. I should get an email confirming this when the order goes through and is the phone is sent. He did say I would definitely have it by Fri. maybe Thurs if they ship Wed. They use 2 day FedEx.

They are having problems with the on line upgrade pages.

Yea, I called to give it a shot, but it was a no go. Said that it comes out on Friday and was going to call me back first thing Sat. morning.

I'd be really interested in the specifics and a screenshot of the confirmation when/if it shows up

I'd sure like to know who you got routed to because I've called twice now and was told not until Friday both times.
