Ordered mine earlier and got overnight shipping via telesales! I would call back and get another rep if they tell you that its N/A or overnight shipping is N/A..it seems like every sales rep has got a different story lol.

I know when you order online you can just check the box "add to bill" but, i've heard its hard to do that thru tela sales and in stores.

I added the phone to my bill without a problem.......

I think I am having buyers remorse. Seems like I just spent a lot of money on this device for nothing really major over my Diamond. Hopefully I feel differently when I have it in my hands and play with it for a while......At least I have the option of returning it. Will just need to hold off on selling my Diamond just in case.

Bingo, you will have the option to return it if it doesn't feel like a worthy upgrade.

Same for me, I'm getting it with hopes that I will enjoy it (more) than my touch pro; even though I loved my touch pro.

If it's not worthy of the upgrade price within 30 days I will return it and wait for the next best thing. Wish the Hero had a keyboard :(

Sprint Touch Pro 2: Now Available for Order by Sprint Telesales

We're getting word that as of today, September 3rd, you can now place pre-order for the just announced HTC Touch Pro 2 via Sprint TeleSales (866-866-7509).

All sorts of prices are being thrown around, depending on your current contract-status. There is a $100 MIR and you should be able to get the fee for over-night shipping waived. Some SERO users though are getting denied, so be careful.

The devices are also suppose to be in stock now, meaning deliveries could start as early as tomorrow (no tracking numbers have been confirmed as of yet) but most people are being told it won't ship till next week, so 3-5 business days.

Called to ask about my phone being shipped overnight since they charged me $12 or so for shipping. She said they don't ship overnight because the way they usually ship is just as fast blah blah blah.

Anywho, was told to call back after I get the phone to get the shipping taken off my account through billing.

just have them post the charges to your account... any credit amount you have will just go against the charges. itll work just fine...

My story: called *2, re-reverified my email about free month service... .. re-re-re-re-re verified my 199 status for a TP2 offered via Premier rep_everytime ive talked to sprint since that i always end the phone call with making them check for that not on my account...

i didnt get a mail in rebate, because of my offer though... they wanted to chage the 30 extra for shipping and activation, said im a premier member so i was eligible to have that paid--did say it would get credited Back Off though, which i wasnt thrilled about(they take 2 bills sometimes for that stuff, oh well though)...

asked about shipping time.. got the 3-5 biz days.. joked about how they were always quick, she gave me this number 866 789 8292, and said i could check there and once it gives me a routing number, its in transit, and could possibly arrive tomorrow.. she clearly stated this wasnt a pre-order because the device became available today...

so i got mine for 199.. got my free month of service for extending my contract-which is a $99 charge... couldnt get them to apply it to the phone though.. either way, i still saved an extra $100 on my bill, and i saved $250 on the device, so whatever... im still very happy.. and hopefully playin with it tomorrow afternoon... their always here by 1pm, just whether or not calling basically just now is early enough so that it still leaves today..

oh yeah...they did mention my plan... she said that a have the absolutely messaging shared plan or whatever it was called and said that id need something different...was kinda of a bad connection and she was beyond foreign in accent(not trying to be offensive here people,just sayin)... told her i have unlimited data as a free add on, and she said ok, and kept on going...

also, they applied it to my bill no problems... so no out of pocket expenses today...

They gave me the same jazz about the shipping, but I have always received my Sprint shipments next day. I also got shipping, activation and tax waived! Can't wait!

Okay I ordered the phone..it WAS SO HARD since instead of regular music they played Palm Pre messages over and over (the horror)

I got it with fee for shipping and etc for 2-5 days (but was told it would ship tomorrow)

called back, got all stuff waved and turned to overnight shipping..BUT he said it is possible that it won't ship out tomorrow, so even though shipping is overnight there may be a delay.

oh by the way..SERO all green!

Worked like a charm and she confirmed that you did not have to have a SEP plan or anything just as long as you have an Unlimited Data Plan. Phone ordered! :headbang:

So i gave in and just ordered my touch pro 2! total came out to $510 ($60 worth of taxes as I live in CA -_-) was eligble for the $150 upgrade and $100 rebate. Had the activation and shipping cost waived. SERO F&F 500 plan was a go and had no problem with getting that carried over (2 yr contract renewal of course) Also was able to apply the charges to my account without a probelm. Shipping was estimated at 2-5 business days but hoping it will come in sooner! whoo hooo =)

This is starting to look consistent. I wonder with those who are successfully ordering, if there will be a problem with activation? Hmmm...

he has a 99$ plan and he got 1 month free for renewing his contract, thus the discount...not that he officially got his phone cheaper.

sicne its windows mobile ,can;t we activate the phones ourselves? They had a policy for a while where PDA, phones instinct and Palm Pre don't work...but PDA phones we all know work...Since some of us got it, my guess the denial is due to agent training and not the system actually denying it.

I would try again, I was able to swap my Touch Pro for the Touch Pro 2 even though I bought my first one back in February but because I have had a couple of exchanges they have something new called the WEL List were if you have had a couple of exchanges you can exchange for a different device. Normally this is done through a Cooperate Store but Advance Technical Support said they would do it for me.

I would call back and try a different Rep Mal and see what they say.

I cant track my order , i ordered on SERO # and she gave me order number but when i go to sprint to track, they are asking me for a tracking number with dashes in it. Does sero have a different site?

Thats exactly the case, shipping is overnight but inventory can take 2-5 to move. If we are lucky today.

i started a thread on it, to see if there were others... the free month thing was about renewing a new 2yr service agreement is all...

kinda yes, kinda no... i had that thread that got closed because of the crybabies that couldnt handle it... i got my phone for $199 flat out..well taxes.. and i have to have the activ and ship fees credited off when the charges go through... i didnt pay 350 and im just adding things down..

i paid 200... plus got my free month... if you/I/we wanna look at as applied to the device, since its all on my bill anyways... sure, i got the TP2 for a 100 bucks then lol

Yes, I just called and was told the same thing. It may take a day to process the order, but once it is handed off to UPS it is overnight service. Here's to hoping that Sprint moves fast for us today so we can have a really great start to the holiday weekend!

I agree this is probably agent training, though he seemed convinced. Shoot, we even chatted about everything else for 5 mins before the order--very nice guy. I'm sure if he could have done something, he would have.

Still, if it blocked on SEP, not even activating online won't do. You can order a Pre on eBay and then try to activate it online (or call) but it won't happen. :( Something about the ESN being flagged by their system I believe...
Yeah, I think this is just confusion on their part right now. Will probably wait a bit and then re-call. I did hit @Sprint up on Twitter to ask for clarification. Pretty lame that they can't get this straight--I mean shoot, my phone was going to be $500+ and they turned me away!

Well wen I ordered for my sero it was via 1-800-sprint1 number..you can also try different numbers as well. Best strategy is to get 1 agent to agree who cant order then forward you and claim previous agent said yes..this will at least get the to "try"...and ask them to try.


199$ flat? isn't there a 150 rebate on it to get the 350 price? or then you got your phone for 100-150 aka made 50 bucks? lol
