Truthfully, no, I don't notice any lag at all. Here's a rundown of what I've done to my phone, in case you're interested in the comparison:

-- Hard Reset
-- Touch Pro 2 Cleanup (my own set of hacks, see link for details... it DOES install the ATI D3D driver but not the GFXBOOST... still don't know what that is)
-- Contact Changer (doesn't do anything but convert all contacts to First Last instead of Last, First)
-- Facebook
-- Bing Search (replaces Live Search)
-- .NET Compact Framework 3.5
-- Font Pack (a collection of Windows fonts that I frequently need)
-- PHM RegEdit
-- S2U2 2.04 (see link, post #3 for customized version ... all settings configured for battery-friendly but functional settings ... preconfigured for RawBuffer mode)
-- Spb Screenshot applet
-- Total Commander

I also switch between TF3D and Spb Mobile Shell 3.0.1.

Literally, the only issue I have is with S2U2 not functioning in Landscape properly after a soft reset. The subject of this thread. I don't really want to hijack this with a graphics driver debate, but if you like, I'll take this to another more appropriate thread and discuss in great detail (just not my cleanup thread either, lol).

Got it, downloaded it, LOVE it. Thank you so much bro. That was driving me crazy, and I really didn't want to redo them all by hand, plus I didn't want to have to put their first name in the last name section and vice-versa. Now I can use the inputs how they were meant to be used, AND be able to view it how I wanted(first name 1st)....

Thanks!!!

Hey, if you have like 5min, I'd really like to talk to you about that "Cleanup" file you made. I would love to use it, but need to ask you a couple things first so I don't turn my phone into a brick.

Send me a PM, or reply here. Maybe we could hop on AIM or something. Completely up to you. Thanks again.

I started a thread about this a few days back but it got little interest. We can discuss further there if you feel so inclined. I had hoped to get people more knowledgeable than I looking at what I was experiencing and see if maybe it was something easily fixable.
The thread is here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...13#post1177913

By the way, I see this happen even 100% stock with only S2U2 installed. Regardless if TF3D is enabled or not.

don't really want to threadjack, but quick question goodthings... when youre using spb mobile shell 3 and you pull up your phone dialer via call key, can you still access the left soft key (contacts)? The reason i ask is this: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=85783

i'm trying to see if this is affecting every tp2/ms3 user or just some... please let me know, thanks..

Just stop by the thread and ask away.

I'll swing by there when I get a chance today.

No... it's definitely broken by using MS3, but I actually think it's because TF3D isn't enabled more than MS3 causing the issue. The button is mapped to the TF3D contacts section and with TF3D disabled, it can't get there. I'm sure it's just a regedit to fix, but I haven't had a chance to look into it.

And now hopefully back to our regularly scheduled thread, lol.

Re: S2U2 Landscape

Goodthings... i don't think it's related to touchflo... if you disable both tf3d and ms3, the contacts key works again. Sorry OP, don't want to continue discussing this here so if anyone has anything to add about this topic, go to this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=86512
