Well I just called a Sprint Premiere Representative. I explained that I was having certain issues with my current TP and was very interested in upgrading to a new device. First he tried selling me on the Palm Pre, And treo Pro. I told him I was not interested in these devices. I asked If there were any phones coming out soon That I may be interested in, and he said he had no information on any other phones coming out soon. I then asked him directly that I may be interested in the upcoming TP2. He played dumb and said he knew nothing about the upcoming TP2. He continued to try to sell me the Treo Pro. I told him to please contact me when they know more information about the TP2.

Might as well close this BS thread since sprint will not ever do this.I asked 4 different people in Retentions today also talked to account services sup who put me on hold for 10 minutes not 2-3 but 10 and he researched this for me.

What did he find? sprint in noway no how does this.In fact he was so sure he said if i found that to be true which he said i will not he would send me a pro 2 for free as i have been with sprint for 10 years and have 3 on my 7 lines i have.He also stated no department has been given the price yet also.

So sorry to burst his bubble but he is liying

Well I wouldnt say hes lying. In my experience the Sprint reps are not always on the same page, or the same chapter for that matter. I dont believe Bored would straight out make up a lie. Whether or not it was a fake call. Bored has always been helpfull around here, and I think he has better things to do than fabricate stories.

Well since the baseball game i am going to watch is not on for a hour yet i still called again and again and this last time i asked to have a high priority rep call me back about this.And AGAIN i was so assured that they WOULD NEVER do this for a new phone that they would credit my account the price of the phone if i found this to be true.

The person i talked to asked me for the phone number of this person so he could put it to a end but i told him it was just someone i do not know on the net.

He then told me that was my first mistake.I have his direct line and said to me that if i found anyone who got this offer to have them call him and if by some un goldly reason it was true he would credit my account the total price of the touch pro 2.

This is just someone who is bored on a saturday.

you gotta be the luckiest guy in the world huh.... 4 calls to retentions, 1 to account serv rep, a 10minute hold in there, and now the pre baseball game calls... whats that about 8 call u got through on and completed in the 2hrs this has been up...

can i have your methods of contacting sprint for future use, since u apparently have some skill the rest of us do not

i'm going to have to call BS on this one... on the account of extreme jealousy.

Its funny how someone is trying to share his expierence with Sprint customer service and he already has people hating that he got an awesome deal and they didn't, so they immediately call BS.

I for one wish Verizon would do the same, but we all know that would never happen.
