Re: Speaker volume (quiet then loud)
It drives me nuts. My old touch pro is nice and loud but the screen is broken. my TP2 has a working screen but I barely hear the first ring/notice.
I have to make sure that whatever ring is set for texts and emails is long enough that the speaker has a chance to turn on. |

Re: Speaker volume (quiet then loud)
this is not a problem this is a safety feature. the diamonds and pro1s had problems with the speakers blowing because of the high power being applied all at once. so htc actually listens to a problem and fixed it. would you rather have speakers blowing in your $649.99 device or have a safety feature that prevents it.

Re: Speaker volume (quiet then loud)
well if it is a safety feature they added, it is poorly done. for example when playing bubbles, every now and then it will quiet one of the pops, not all of them, just one every 5-6 or so. so as you stated it being a safety feature, then it would be quieting all of them...therefore, if it truly is it is poorly coded.
i would completely understand them having such a feature, but code it properly so that it is not sporadic. i still believe it is a defect |

Re: Speaker volume (quiet then loud)
I notice it most when I play a song from the music tab, it place nice and loud and clear, then after about 3-5 seconds it goes low..I really like the loud and would rather be able to turn it down from the initial volume.....

Re: Speaker volume (quiet then loud)
with the sprint version if you take out the orange screen it gets a little louder. but thats your call. and yes the code could be fixed a lil bit.maybe in the 6.5 roms? or custom roms?
