It's my toy budget hence why I got it. It is a much better device then the TP... the experience from the screen alone makes it more enjoyable to use.

Should I just stop now? Because I can't see how this is a downgrade in any way shape, or form. Please note, to understand this comparison to the TP the > symbol means "greater than".

Re: Anyone going to pass on the tp2?

There isn't any proof that the higher processor number means jack. Processor specs on paper mean nothing.

WVGA means nothing if the processor had issues powering the VGA screen.
New manila? Having something that I don't need is completely worthless. My TP isn't upgraded to the latest released manila as I am quite content with the one that I have.
Notification led? The ring is all the notification I need.
Larger keyboard? I agree, the tp's is way too small
No overheating? I will only believe this after people with the sprint version says that it doesn't overheat.

The rest of the advancements that you stated aren't worth the upgrade price IMO.

If in case you don't know what IMO means or chose to ignore it as you did in the exact line that you quoted, it means "in my opinion". The name of this topic is "Anyone going to pass on the tp2?" That means that people can and will give reasons why they will or will not get a tp2. Fail, as in my opinion is incorrect? The only opinion that matters is the one who is shelling out the "BIG" bucks. I respect your reasons but that "FAIL" and your closing statement was very rude. There is absolutely reason for all that nonsense.

I've been watching this thread, I knew it was only a matter of time before it started getting nasty.

most definatley. as soon as my contract is up (sept 1) im jumping ship and going the iphone route. someone on here once said if you spend so much time trying to make your wm phone into an iphone you should just buy one. plus im sick of having to keep going back to my ancient apache because my newer phones cant last.

I suggest you spend some real quality time with theh iphone to make sure you like it. especially the onscreen keyboard. Not bashing the iphone because I wouldn't mind having one too but only if att would lower the monthly payment to lower than my car payment.

Sprint is the cheapest and the fastest and you will feel that when you get to at&t.

I've spent much time with it. My wife has one, so I consider myself well-versed in the art of keyless typing. But i am goign to miss all the warm love coming from this site-people looking out for one another. Take care, homies. Melo -Out

this website is a hell of a lot more chill then precentral. Man there are always dog fights over there. Iphone forums are the same way.

Very well said.

I don't consider the other parts of the post to be harsh or fighting words in anyway. No one likes to be disrespected for their opinions.
