I wonder if and when asurion or sprint start replacing "lost or stolen" TP with TP2 for those who buy TEP for $7/month?

If and when it happens, it may be worth $100 to upgrade.

What do you think?

I upgraded from an HTC Titan aka Mogul to the TP2.. The upgrade was amazing..

If I had a TP or Diamond I probally won't have upgraded...

Does the phone get hot? I have never used a TP but I can honestly say the phone doesn't get hot at all...


Is the upgrade worth it? HELL YES!!!

Does a person really anticipate their phone being lost or stolen? No...

With the way "lost or stolen" was in quotes, I think it may be anticipated in this case ;)

Well, my Mogul has really started acting up, the Send and Snd and Comm buttons just quit, so I have to pull up the phone through the on-screen menus, and it also goes into Flight mode between calls. I called in, and they are sending me another (drum roll) MOGUL.

But it's at no charge on TEP since it's a hardware failure and not a insurance claim. That will buy me more time to see how the TP2 is working before taking the plunge and upgrading. Plus, I'm still out-of-contract, so that's all good.

And when I do upgrade, I'll still have (hopefully) a good Mogul as a backup (or if I change my mind about the TP2 within 30 days).

The phone comes with a youtube player, and Skyfire is a free download. iPhone has no flash support, nor does the Pre, diamond, diamond 2, touch pro, mogul, omnia, omnia 2, instinct, etc.

The only phone I have seen recently with flash support built in is the Hero.
