I understand all the efforts being made on a software hack, but IF the dual bluetooth/fm transmitter chip is in fact being used then we know the bluetooth side is grounded because it works. But if the FM transmitter side is not grounded the firmware will not recognize the device no matter how much hacking is involved.

I would be willing to look at the physical hardware and it's physical relationships but I'm not stripping my device to find out.

Has anyone done this to confirm this hardware is mounted on the board in the way WE want it to be?

I just skimmed this thread a bit... but was it a typo or is there an FM transmitter in the Touch Pro 2s? Also, if this is the case... you're not going to be receiving many stations with an FM transmitter...

It has an FM receiver that is locked or disabled....
