I was gonna say, I called yesterday and no luck. Anyway, before you guys responded, I called telesales again. Incredibly helpful lady, who asked her manager, and tried to manually enter the model number on the order screen. It wouldn't let her.

I could tell she was actually looking though, because I just gave her the model number, she searched, and said "HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone". She said her literature didn't show anything about a release date, and typically they receive an e-mail when new phones are going to be available in the coming days. She said she hadn't received any e-mail about the TP2, and the info she had didn't say anything about a release date.

I have no reason to doubt it, but I sure as hell hope it comes out on Friday. My 6800 is already up on eBay.

OHHH snap! I just changed it...I guess it was grandfathered-in before the site format change....ctrl+alt+del...oh well..didnt work. I guess I'm stuck with the tiny avatar like the rest of ya'll....where's my TP2? Verizon!

I bet the VZW Corporate wennies are probably laughing at our a**'s waiting for them to throw us a bone. It sure would be nice to have the weekend to get it set up right.
