A fellow Geeker advised me that my attachments were all invalid. I then realised that when I had accidently deleted all the cab files that I have ever uploaded to PPCGeeks. Most of them I currently use on My TP2, since I'm not sure which cab files were affected, and other members can no longer download them. I'm going to be uploading all the Customizing cab files that I currently have and in use on my TP2

Can anyone confirm this actually works? Tried it and it appears not to. I also tried the Advanced Config setting mentioned in the XDA link, and that does not work either. Issues are discussed here:

this simple registry hack will stop opera from booting when you start the phone, you will have 46-47% usage on a boot rather than 53-55% so you will save about 5-10% memory usage.

stop opera from starting up upon boot:

HKLM\Software\HTC\PushInternetEngine
Change Enable from 1 to 0

HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\InternetPush
change EnablePushInternet from 1 to 0

Hopefully this is a tip someone can use...

k...Here is how you create your own shortcut folders in Manila...

Create a folder under windows/start menu/programs. Name it whatever you want.
move program links from the programs folder into that folder using activesync

Now go under HLKM\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\PROGRAMLAUNCHER\

chose a program position (they are labeled by number) & open it. Modify the following values (I will use "Utilities" as my example):
DispName: Utilities
IconPath: this is up to you, I leave it blank, but you can link to an icon in the folder you create)
IsReadOnly:0
Path:\Windows\Start Menu\Utilities



Now you may be saying what? The paths do not match between where you placed the folder & the path in the registry... You are right; apparently it assumes the path is: \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Utilities.
So you just need to put in \Windows\Start Menu\Utilities

I hope this helps anyone looking to create folder links easily under manila
