i like the functionality of the call button, but the only thing that irks me is that the initial press brings up recent calls. i'd like to retain all of its functionality but have the inital press bring up the contact list, how do i do that?

Thanks RAZORLOVES!!! The regedit was exactly what I needed. The Bluetooth works perfect with the pioneer now!

Funny thing is when I'm using the phone normally, the original dialer has some glitches. It does not show the recent dialed numbers above the dial pad, every thing is blank. You can touch the blank area and it will call one of your recent numbers. Also, native S2U doesn't seem to work anymore.

Found this thread from '09, Used the Tachi Dialer disable cab and now I can see the names in the dialer.

Any of the .Cab files you can put anywhere (I usually store on my memory card though). Then just click on them like you would a PC file, and install (easy as 1,2,4....or I mean 3.....damn it)

For the Registry Codes however, you will need a program to edit the Registry and then place the "codes" in the appropriate section that it says to (not recommended for "noobs")

on your home screen, go to menu -> set wallpaper and the options are there. If you go into menu -> Cookie's Home Tab Editor -> misc settings, there is an option to change the wallpaper configuration to HDWall.

HDWall is a nifty program that you can use to take your own images and make sure they're aligned right, the right size, make a transparent taskbar, change your slider icons, etc. It creates a .cab file that you just execute and it changes your wallpaper and stuff for you.
