Re: Dealing with an unresponsive touch screen
That's what I have found, however you can copy pim.vol to another WinMo device and read it just fine. BTW whenever the touchscreen on any 1 of my Vogues goes bad or gets scratched, I just replace the lens/screen/digitizer. It takes about 10 minutes, now that I've had alot of practice, and costs less than a single month of Assurian's so-called insurance. You can find touchscreen replacements on eBay, where I just searched on "htc pro2 digitizer" and got almost 200 hits:

How and where do you copy the PIM file? If I email the PIM file to another windows phone then where should the PIM file be added to the phone in order to view or use it? When I found the PIM file on my original phone I clicked it to see if it would open and I got a message saying the file could not be opened. I copied the file anyway and attached it to an email that I sent to myself. The PIM file is about 2 MB in size. |

Re: Dealing with an unresponsive touch screen
You should be able to view but not edit the PIM file using Notepad on your PC. Otherwise, I think you can use a specific file viewer like DragonUnpacker.
