TP2 unlock /edit registry

Hello,

I have been at this for a couple days not sure what im doing wrong I read all kinds of threads and just plain frustrated.

I am using the only program that will allow me to edit the registry or change the value from 0 to 1.

But does nothing to unlock the phone.

I am using CeRegEditor and it is the only program that will link to the phone and allow me to see all the folders/files.

I just need to unlock this Biatch...pleae help thank you

If you need to unlock your TP2, go here if it is a CDMA device:

Hi,

I have done that process, and nothing, it initiates the process and completes, but nothing.

Shut down your device. Now hold down the volume down button and then power up the device. What do you see?

I know I am supposed to get the tricolor screen correct?

I get the sprint logo...at the moment..its booting...into windows...launvhing htc sense and goes to the home page...?

Hi TinkerBell,

can you point me back in the right direction, with so many roms out there it's confusing for a newbie to figure out what is best, I just want to get this phone going because the piece of rock (ZTE) is just not cutting it. I can't find the step by step.

I would love to have everything working not sure if that's cooked up, but I would figure it is since this is a old phone.

Appreciate your help...and promise to donate so long as you all take paypal...

Sorry to have left you there, I had to step out for a bit. I would check out this Rom first as it is very solid and well supported. I am going to have to get some rest, but I will check in on you in the morning!! Hang in there!!

No worries, thank you so much, I went to bed last night after a good reading helps me sleep pretty good.

I will have to wait to load the rom, for some reason the battery took a dump so I am going to pick one up later today.

Your advice is greatly appreciated, so as I get that battery I will flash and let you know how it turns out.
