Congrats. Just for a little further information, flashing to any rom (so long as it is cdma and touch pro 2 specific) will not cause you to loose data or coast you an oppertunity of flashing a new rom. Unless you brick it by stopping the flash half way through What probably happened is the fact that it was deavtivated whos knows when and who knows where while on the mighty rom Since it was deactivated, it lost all data and connections from where the phone orriginally was. Now that you have reactivated it where you are, the phone was still trying to connect to the towers it had registered from where ever it was last active at. An odd problem but the only solution I see Now.. what updating the PRL and profile does is manually sync the phont to your local towers. The Profile will connect it to the nearest tower where ever you are at. The PRL (not really neccisary) will connect it to any other tower and leave it in reserves incase you start roaming. The phone SHOULD connect on its own to the towers as you pass them But I think the deactivation and reactivation might have hicked it up. But in anycase, thats what the updates are for, although some chefs (people who make the roms incase you didnt know) have opted to leave thees option out of the settings. They are normally found under settings, all settings, system. but the chefs leave it out because they make a provisioning cab for you to install yourself that upon installing it should connect you on its own. I personally think that leaving it out was stupid but oh well. Only other thing id advice is flash to a stock 6.1 rom, manually update. then flahs to a stock 6.5, manually update. then flash whatever rom you want, like your mighty rom. (your current mightyrom might be outdated and could cause issues) any thing else just ask ![]() |
