UNLOCKING THE SPRINT HTC PRO 2

id sudgest either trying it on another computer or...

try downloading the stock 6.5 rom from htc.

You dont have to be unlocked to run the flash for that rom..
Let it re-update the phone to 6.5 and then try it again.

There might be a small bug in there that might get fixed when you reflash stock.

i JUST downloaded the latest hard spl, although im sure its probably no different then the one I already had..
any way, I ran through all the steps I mensioned befor, but this time instead of starting it up on bootloader, I only did that to be sure all the drivers were installed.

Then I turned my phone back on and let it load all the way to the today screen, I let activesync detect my phone, and I made sure that I could access the files on my phone through the computer

After all that, I ran the auto unlock.

My phone turned off (wich is ok)
and the screen never came back on again till AFTER the computer said 100 percent (Again.. its ok)

My phone was already unlocked.. so it didnt really do anything, but it should still be the same process.

I just tried it on my windows 7 laptop and the av i have wouldnt let me run the hardspl with out turning it off.

I never had to on my vista desktop tho.. go figure.

ya it is, even though there is an option to ignore the "threat" it ses that as a procosion the file will not be active to prevent possible damages.

Pain in the ass..

But in any case I cant figure out why this guy is having issues unlocking... I cant think of any other reason other then what weve already said

OP I know this may sound silly but I suggest you clear storage/hard reset your tp2 and then after it is finished go back to the unlocking thread here or use the htc unlocks website and re follow the developers instructions EXACTLY and see if you have better luck. You may also need to uninstall and reinstall Activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center on your PC.

the problem is when i use the auto flash it says this noncomirchal program and i been unlocking phones before what ever and when use manual flash frezz on %0 for ever and i already install new active sync and re flash the stock rom and still the same thing WTF!! is going on with that !!!!!! please guys help before i break this phone

Have you tried unlocking with a different PC?

Im sure you might have done this already but did you try re downloading the hard spl?

perhaps maybe you have a defective download or maybe even the wrong version?

try this one, its the one I used the other day

Only other thing I could think of is that maybe not all the drivers are installed or maybe it could be a refurbashed phone and they put a lock on it 0.o?

what about if its refurbashed how to unlock it????
