make sure your anti virus is off on pc, very important. (in my case)

i never turned mine off, i just had to pay attension to when the anti viruse detected the compressed file and just told it to ignore it

I just tried it on my windows 7 laptop and the av i have wouldnt let me run the hardspl with out turning it off.

I never had to on my vista desktop tho.. go figure.

ya it is, even though there is an option to ignore the "threat" it ses that as a procosion the file will not be active to prevent possible damages.

Pain in the ass..

But in any case I cant figure out why this guy is having issues unlocking... I cant think of any other reason other then what weve already said

Where is it freezing?

Does the phones screen go into the gray screen with the blue bar and get stuck at 0% there?

And this is for the unlocking right? not a rom flash?

Because if its the hardspl you working with, it should stay at zero for a few seconds then auto jump to 100.

It shouldnt take long at all to finish.

if your on a rom idk what to tell you... you should never unplug it when on that screen

iwant to UNLOCK the phone so ican flash a rom...yes its stays zero on both screens phone and computer and i wait 10 min then it says there an error and it dosnt work on automatic flash i use the manual then everything go and it freez on %0 both screens and then i reset the phone and back to normal it have the stock 6.5 windows sprint!!!

Hmm...

id sudgest either trying it on another computer or...

try downloading the stock 6.5 rom from htc.

You dont have to be unlocked to run the flash for that rom..
Let it re-update the phone to 6.5 and then try it again.

There might be a small bug in there that might get fixed when you reflash stock.

*EDIT*
i JUST downloaded the latest hard spl, although im sure its probably no different then the one I already had..
any way, I ran through all the steps I mensioned befor, but this time instead of starting it up on bootloader, I only did that to be sure all the drivers were installed.

Then I turned my phone back on and let it load all the way to the today screen, I let activesync detect my phone, and I made sure that I could access the files on my phone through the computer

After all that, I ran the auto unlock.

My phone turned off (wich is ok)
and the screen never came back on again till AFTER the computer said 100 percent (Again.. its ok)

My phone was already unlocked.. so it didnt really do anything, but it should still be the same process.
