I am running a titanium rom so no sense loaded.

Still hangs.

To disable sense, you go into today and items and uncheck Sense. Makes your home screen blank if you don't have anything checked.

Then can run what ever apps/programs you need via start menu.

Then turn it back on by checking it in the Today Items again.

There is a registry setting that controls this. I can dig up my old Mortscript that was a toggle for Sense. Will be a bit before I can dig for it.
