Yes, Epic has the LED notification.....Verizon I guess felt the led was not a needed item.....really a very bad choice on verizons part.

There are a couple of apps that can be installed for the fascinate that sets a floating notification icon on the screen....but at the expense of the battery life.

Re: htc tp2 replacement phone

the absolute must haves are:

1) video out
2) verizon

Everything else would probably be available on the phone anyway.

Re: htc tp2 replacement phone

I too am thinking of a new phone. I'm on USCC and am considering the LG Genesis, Desire or the HTC Merge. I too am needing a QWERTY, BT A2DP, WiFi, oh and it has to make and receive calls too . Any suggestions. And what about the HTC 7 PRO.

go for the HTC 7 pro, I have the sprint version (the HTC arrive ) and I love it. the main annoyance I have with it tho is the shittiness of the sprint network in my area lately, I mean WTF? how hard can it be to fix a tower? I love being able to listen to songs on the go and dpwnload/stream them on the fly with Zune pass, Netflix,Xbox live games: its fun to hear that achievement sound while on the go and being able to keep up with everyone, Facebook integration is top notch and will get even better with chat and notifications built in mango. IE9 will also come with the fastest html5 support than any other mobile browser, top notch SkyDrive support which compliments MS' new initiative which is to provide the same experience and access to ur content no matter what device ur on. the mango update will also fix alot of the complaints people (notably texasaggie) on this forum have about wp7.not to mention how fast, stable and reliable it is compared to other devices out there. so I stronglyrecommend u get the 7 pro, u will not be disappointed in ur investment.
