HTC Peep

I just decided to flash the new beta Lead rom for my Sprint TP2, and noticed that I couldn't log into HTC Peep, then I flashed back to the latest stable Lead rom that I know was working before with HTC Peep, and it too could not log in, instead giving me an error message.

I've tried updating my twitter password, removing Peep from sense and re-emabling it, all to no avail. Any other ideas on a workaround?

I was just about to post a new thread about this. I just re-opened my twitter account a week ago and noticed it wouldnt sign me in but it was working back in sept/oct before I closed it. I have TouchTwit but I dont like it. Has anybody tried anything else other than TouchTwit??

This happened to Peep last year, but after 2 weeks, it got fixed.

Now, Peep stopped working over a month ago and it doesn't look like they're going to fix it. I'd advise just using your internet browser.

yea taking another look at that link and it seems that its a Europe fix. coulda sworn there was a US one too. when/if I find that one I'll update the link with it. in the meantime use an internet browser or an alternative app to access twitter. I've found that the desktop version works fine in IE.

if your using a CDMA TP2, the LEAD ROM has the security fix included in it, and even with that it is not working. I'm using MoTweets but still would prefer the HTC Peep version over it
