How do you turn off sleep?
Sorry an andriod newb, but i have a program that i need to use for like 30 minutes but if the phone goes to sleep it stops making the notifications. I would like to lock the screen but not let the phone sleep. I dont care about battery life.

I'm an android n00b too... I like your question...
I just tried a timelapse program and my phone locked halfway throught the project I was working on. And it was plugged in.

I'll keep my eyes open and you let us know if you find out too.

The attached cab has two mort scripts with Shortcuts in the tools folder that disable sleep (store your current config) and enable it with your previous values.

Let me know how it works out for you. I made this to disable sleep for the WIFI router, but it should work for you as well.

You will need to reboot to have the attached icons show up. The one with red eye piece disables sleep.


It requires that you have MortScript installed:

I looked in to doing that because I have about 4-5 different scripts that I use to manage screen brightness, sleep, volume...

I just did not feel like learning LUA to extend a dead platform...

If you choose to do it, let me know and I will give you some more ideas for toggles I have written.
