Re: Bluetooth tether Motorola Xoom to TP2?
I've tethered a Xoom to the TP2.
1). Boot to Android. I used ProjectAndroid2.2Froyo.112210.cab 2). Don't use Bluetooth. The Tethering & portable hotspot mode in Settings works well. 3). Enjoy not paying BigRed $20/mo for a single GB. |

Re: Bluetooth tether Motorola Xoom to TP2?
The problem with this is that 90% of Android devices don't connect to Ad Hoc networks. The Droid X seems to connect so you'll have better luck using an Android device (OS) to connect with an Android device (Xoom).

Re: Bluetooth tether Motorola Xoom to TP2?
I'm sure there is a way to connect the xoom to an ad hoc network .. that's really weird that it can't . look around in the settings on the xoom

Re: Bluetooth tether Motorola Xoom to TP2?
to connect android devices to ad hoc you need to replace the wpa_supplicant file found in system/bin...
this one works for me.. back up the one on your XOOM first, then copy this file in..
