MY HTC Touch Pro 2 runs:
WinMO 6.5
Android 2.2
Ubuntu/Rhobuntu
Full Versions of Windows 95 and 98
and through homescreen themes/launchers iOS and Windows 7..

Oh yeah its also a world phone, gets a full days worth of battery, and tethers 80-100GBs/month of data for free for me...

Hmmmm........ mine seems to be working fine... I claim User Error in your case OP..

oh yeah, and Im on NRG.. hehe

and no secrets with tethering.. all WifiRouter app, so stealth tether isnt even involved(stealth tether is only for USB tethering).. Sprint just doesnt give a shit... my speeds stay consistent too, no throttling by Sprint either.. never a warning, letter, email, nor fee either...
