Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?
I see, so it doesn't matter which side. But i hard reset it because I got the phone used. Also my ERI version is 0. What is ERI? And what is the number supposed to be?
Also how do I get the contact list? On my bros phone I see "People" and "Contacts" While on my phone I only see "People" how do I find the other? Have you evern read about nueBattery2Settings? When I opened it and it checked marked "Enable Fast Charge" and "Don't Round Percentage (1% Increment)". I would like to know what the default would be with both of these without this program so I can set it. Because in the program I click set default and it checks both again. So I am curious if those are the "real" defaults for how the phone was made. And what is fast charge? How does it work? Last edited by gera229; 01-24-2011 at 05:04 AM. |

Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?
u can find contacts under start>outlook>then contacts but the people uses this anyway so there's no need to access it separately. the nuebattery causes problems with batteries overheating so dont use it but basically what fast charge does is it charges the battery faster than it would if it wasn't enabled, but u get a more reliable charge if its not enabled. as for ERI that's nothing to worry about.

Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?
I would like to install a new opera mobile browser or in other words update. I have v 9.7 on stock. I hope 10 is better.
How do I do it for best install? Do I uninstall 9.7 first manually OR do I run the cab for 10 and wait until it asks to replace the 9.7 one with version 10? Which method is better to do? Also what is the difference between opera mobile touch and opera mobile keypad? Also is .Net Compact Framework 3.5 installed by default on winmo 6.5? How can I check my version? What is the most up to date version (number)? Also after soft resetting my phone, I get about 80mb free memory ram on stock rom (with Co0kies mod and goodthings2life cleanup done). Is this how much there should be. How how much should there be? I researched remove push internet and figured it frees ram for winmo 6.1, I would like to know if it will free ram for 6.5 and if 6.5 even has push internet. I hope you can answer all of these questions separately. Last edited by gera229; 01-24-2011 at 09:01 PM. |

Just install 10 and set it to default if you want. Then if you don't want it then uninstall it. Opera Mobile Touch is for Touch Screen phones. Keypad is for those without. 3.5 is installed. There is a 3.7 version I believe. 80mb is about right for the shipped 6.5. If you installed the cleanup or tweaks cab then push internet is disabled.

I was asking if it would be better to manually uninstall 9.7 first and then install 10 OR to install 10 and let it overwrite? If I install 10 will push internet still be disabled? |

9.7 is built into the rom it can't be uninstalled. personally i think 9.7 is better than 10 in most aspects.

Opera 10 is really very different than 9.7 so it shouldn't ask to overwrite. It will probably just ask if you want to make it the default browser. I would not uninstall 9.7 if I were you. In my opinion it is better anyway. Push internet should stay disabled because it is a setting within the os and sense. |

Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?
Opera 9.7 and 10 are by default installed to different locations and can co-exist fine. Personally, I use Opera Mini 5 since it's the fastest browser I've tried that still looks good.
