in that case mini is the fastest because the pages are all preloaded on operas servers.but that's all its good for ,even buggier with logging in and text entry,no flash either and u always get mobile site redirects with no way to fix it. in IE its the easiest to fix that.

Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?

What do you mean by mobile site redirects?

Also in internet explorer is it possible to run like hotmail or facebook on desktop layout? Not sure if anyone would want to do that but that's for my interest.

I would like to know when watching youtube, does it take up the phones storage memory? Or does it delete what it took when you close the video and thus you get the storage memory back? I just don't want to get my phone to be all buggy if I watch too much youtube videos, but if it doesn't store in memory then I guess my phone won't be buggy. (Not talking about ram here, but the storage memory)

hotmail ive done it before on the stock 6.1 rom and everything worked good, on 6.5 it redirects to mobile version as does facebook. on opera mobile you get the mobile versions of sites instead of the full ones like u can get on IE with the option set to desktop. as for youtube the memory gets regained after close.

Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?

So I guess youtube is ok to use and it doesn't store large video files on your phone. I cannot open hotmail in desktop view which I understand. But other pages I can like ebay, gizmodo, and NFL pages using opera mini.

I like hotmail and facebook on mobile layout better anyway. But on IE you can make them desktop layout right? That's a plus if so.
I just like the browsing experience of the opera mini which loaded the FULL ebay page in 8 seconds vs IE which loaded it in 13-14 seconds, tested about 10 times. It may be different with different pages, but this made me stick with opera mini.

Also does IE have flash support? I mean can you go on speedtest.net on MIE?

Re: How to install software on Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2?

Ok, so I tried to go to speedtest.net on IE and it loaded but said no server found. Can you even launch it on there?

By the web pocketnow.com full website loaded in like 3 minutes on IE(First time, second time it was like 2 minutes) vs 20 seconds on Opera mini vs 30 seconds opera mobile.
