They alway are...
They look brand new.
I would strongly reccomend a hard reset before any setup though... Refurbs tend to bring bugs with them from time to time. I always hard reset then soft reset then start my PRL and system updates before I even begin with my email and Microsoft's My Phone setup.

Wow, I wish I had read this suggestion sooner. I have finished reinstalling all of my programs and data and at this point don't want to do it a second time. Do you think that a soft reset now would make any difference?

Re: What is Sprint Asurion offering these days for TP2?

Probably not a big deal... But daily soft resets are good when you're talkign winmo.

They are isolated instances... But I always did it as a matter of practice... (10 different TPs and 4 TP2's later you learn some things. lol.)
You should be ok... But if you see some strange glitches... You know what to do. And I know what you mean about reinstalling everyting.... I did have to do that SEVERAL times... The last time I counted... I had 76 cabs installed in my TP2... And I wondered why it was sluggish. LOL.

Good luck bro.

I agree

Re: What is Sprint Asurion offering these days for TP2?

Ordered a replacement on Feb. 9th, received it on Feb. 11 due to weather delays in shipping.

I received a refurb with only the phone, back, battery, and stylus but no SIM card, no charger and non paperwork in a generic Asurion box. The keyboard was obviously replaced (I can feel and hear it settling into place), externally it looks fine, but under the back cover there are some light scratches.

Manufacturer's date is 9-Jan-2010, refurb date is 14-Jan-2011.

Sprint device, so 2.32F radio and the latest ROM, which was quickly changed to Energy. PRL was updated as well.

Re: What is Sprint Asurion offering these days for TP2?

Does anyone know how these refurbs or later manufactured models overclock? I have a TP2 that's giving me slight digitizer issues but it overclocks to 806 mhz. I don't really want to give that up. Are the later models more/less overclockable or random?

If you want the digitizer fixed your probably just gunna gave to take your chances. To my knowledge they haven't changed anything about the TP2 hardware, so theoretically it should be the same. But its a crapshoot i guess because i can only get 787mhz w/o a SOD sometimes and other say they can't get above 710 (god help them lol).
