ANY help on backlight button issue?!

Imma try to flash and clear SD card aftr class. Ill report results..

Okay, its a negative on reflashing stock rom with no SD and with formatted. This is so frustrating because I cant tell if its a hardware issue, only bc the button still works to turn off the screen.

Now when I try to change the backlight on the device, through an app, and I try to change the dim, screen doesnt change at all no matter what brightness I put the slider on.

I had that exact same issue on my original TP2. I'm now on FRU #3. So far, so good with this one. If you've got TEC/Insurance, call VZW and get a replacement.

Just to revive this old thread... I haven't had a single SOD since I've cleaned up my SD card. I also didn't run Sense for most of this time, using Titanium instead. I am sure that my SOD was related either to a program trying to run off SD, or to Sense. Most likely the SD issue.
