Re: Possible? Using Win7 x64, "pass" TP2 USB tethered 'net connection to a router?
Glad someone else said it. Really didn't want to be a jerk, but it pisses me off when people can't read for content. Oh yeah, and LMGTFY links were funny the first time we saw them... now it's just retarded.

I didn't think you sounded like a jerk... A little touchy maybe... But not a jerk.

Re: Possible? Using Win7 x64, "pass" TP2 USB tethered 'net connection to a router?
I guess you missed the entire point of the thread which is that I did NOT want an Ad-Hoc network, but an Infrastructure/AP one instead? Reading is hard sometimes, I guess?
FYI, I didn't click that LMGTFY link - I know exactly what that site is and refuse to click those juvenile links. Also, you're too late - The solution to my issue - Running Connectify - Has already been mentioned, and it's working great. |

If your smart and know how to use command prompt. It works. Better than connectify. IMO. (if your networkcard allows this method) Using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) is the way you were thinking about doing it to begin with. Im sure it'll give you or someone and idea how to set it up "wirelessly" You can thank me later. KTHXBYE! |
